You won’t have to work a single day of your life ever again

A properly-implemented Citizen’s Dividend would mean that everyone gets enough money to continue living in comfort for the rest of their lives, even if they choose to never work again.

After all, if you look at countries that already implement similar policies but way smaller in scale like Alaska, you can see that people are already given substantial dividends via just one small source of economic rent (in Alaska’s case, that’s oil).

A system that actually extracted rent from land alone would generate enough income to make all forms of traditional taxation obsolete forever.
